Meet some of our cohabitants:

Clathrus archeri, known as Octopus Stinkhorn or Devil's fingers, is a fungus native to Tasmania. Its reproductive organ - four to eight red arms erupts from the ground on a short white stalk. The arms are covered in a foul-smelling brownish slime containing spores. The smell is to trick flies into landing on the spores and transporting them, to spread the fungus. Despite the smell, it is not known to be poisonous.
